Not sure of proper protocol, but I closed out the books for last year and am counting this as the new. Coversation a while back seemed to agree that past equinox/new snow = new year.

Still smooth as can be. I think somone has been running a groomer up there all summer. Weather wasn't nearly as glorious as the Saturday folk had it. It was a mixed bag of climbing through the rain to snowline(7G'ish). Conditions made braving the elements worth the effort. Corn like with occasional pockets of powder. Some crevases are becoming hidden.

Congrats to Salal on his 60th consecutive month.
