With the weather report of fresh snow on the mountain the day before, I decided to skip out of work and take my first shot at September skiing on Tuesday the 21st.

Left the parking lot a little after 11:15, and confirmed that there was lots of new snow blowing around from a pretty miserable looking guided climbing party.  Met up with another skier transitioning to skis by Pebble Creek, then started up the snowfield together.  Saw/ heard whooping from someone descending skiers right at around 8,000 feet.  The clouds followed us most of the ascent, but cleared out as we reached 10,000.

The snow couldn't have been any better.  1-3" Corn on top of a consolidated, but not icy base.  Not a suncup to be found.  Saw another skier climbing on our way down.

I tossed together a quick clip of onboard video of the day.
