Not only do we have Greg Hill trying to skin/ski 2 million feet, there is a Whistler girl also trying to ski 4 million feet( alebit lift assisted) and blogging about it here.

Her posts are actually a lot of fun and she seems like a really cool person.
It's nice to see a woman participating in the madness as well as the usual male suspects.
More power to them. I have nothing but admiration for those that cast aside the normal restraints of life and work!
As she says " what's your restraining bar".

I enjoyed this quote from the woman's blog in the link from Scotsman:
Steph believes that all women should resist the urge to live their lives as cucumbers. Submerge yourself, jump in, be a pickle. Pickles are much more complex than cucumbers. Nobody every changed the world with one toe dangling in. So go ahead, sit in the juice.
It really applies to everyone...not just women...

You guys are nearly as funny as my wife. I told her my goal and she said, " so you're going into a coma for 5 days?" :
Pam's wisdom seemingly knows no bounds. I have always been impressed with her cool and easy going demeanor and her centering/grounding effects on those around her. I shutter to think of what you would be like without her.
(This is day 2, is it not? I'm pulling for you, Scotty... it's a big goal for you but a worthy one; I think you can make it.)

No , its day one and I had a really assholish reply prepared in rebuttal of your post but I'm sticking with my goal so I discarded it... its very hard Ron. I'm going through terrible withdrawl symptoms.Pam's wisdom seemingly knows no bounds. Why don't you join me... we could try it together and support each other?

Careful, there, mate. you're getting awfully close to the edge with such a veiled potentially unkind comment.
Nonetheless, you have my full support. So day one it is. I'll be here for you on day two and beyond.

Look for one shaped like a zucchini.
Then you could also use it to fend of bears?

A courgette???? BBC lingo for zucchini?
A woman fends of a bear with a zucchini pulled from her garden.....thats some quick thinking there.
I may carry one from now one when I bike at Banner Forest for pre-season ski training.
" is that a courgette in your bike shorts or a kegel exerciser?"
