Not too bad above 7,100'. Moderate suncups, a few clearly visible crevasses and patches of exposed glacial ice were the challenges of the day. Biggest hazards were old ski tracks and busting through snow patches into underlying streams (twice)! With a few short rock carries managed to ski down to 6,200', 2,000 feet of pretty good turns for 3,000 of hiking. 67% JOM for August is OK! Solo and too lazy for photos.
I was up there solo too....spent some time flying a kite on the snowfield, kinda fun
(no, not the really cool skiing type of kite, more the lazy at the beach kind.)
