Peter and I skied the Paradise last month and it was nice but I have to say it was even better yesterday.
Amar's report from the 11th was encouraging so Mark, John, Peter and I headed up to hopefully avoid the very hot weather in town and see what we could find. The surface of the glacier is definitely flatter than it was three weeks ago and the snow is still fast (we waxed with glacier wax and used a wire brush for a profile). We skied from anvil Rock to just about 6100' . We did get a late start (as usual)so we were taking skins off or the descent at about 5:30.
Lots of good turns left on the Paradise!

We were ahead of you; we watched you skin up past us while we ate and relaxed. We were maybe 100 vf below you on the same rock outcropping. I think I have a few photos of ya'll climbing, although we were long gone before you headed back down.
