Keith and I went with our spouses to "take the skis for a walk".   We skied a couloir on First Mother Mtn. that Keith is well acquainted with, then booted 2 laps to the top of Mt. Pleasant.  Warm weather and views, noone else past the campground.  Perfect corn and pretty smooth.  Coverage on the Mist Park slopes is still good to access Spray Park, but well gone in a lot of the gullies..
Intermittent snow above Mowich Lake was plenty to get the feet wet and lose the trail, but not enough to link turns very far down, though Keith got down to the highest basin with a carry or 2.
My wife carried her skis to the Pass and I packed her boots with my stuff, but then she decided not to ski below the pass so carried her skis and boots down without using them.
She said the views and environment were so amazing it was well worth it, but her Karhu Jils had the same sad look our dogs have when we go for a walk and leave them in the laundry room!
