Snow's still fat for now, after the carry to Peggy's Pond.  Continuous with several large snow tongue options from East Peak summit to the lake.  Ridge on the south side of Hyas Cirque offered nice continuous ride with sustained pitch as well.  In the cirque flat spots were starting to get sun cupped with some major runnels, but anything with pitch was smooth and buttery corn, with very minimal mushyness.  Some creek openings and you may be island-hopping in 10 days or so.  Mosquito season has begun in force.
Hi alpenho,
Nice report and pictures - I like that place.  Was the Scatter Creek ford drivable in a low-clearance car (sedan)?  How was the traverse on the W side of Cathedral Rock?
Thanks,
Pavel

Scatter creek was going pretty good but there were low-clearance vehicles at the trailhead.  The traverse around Cathedral Rock was dry all the way to Peggy's pond - our two intrepid french bulldogs made it there with minimal assistance, so I would say its ok!
(however, they were pretty sacked by the time we got to the pond)

Great photo -- that's a long haul on stubby legs.

Thanks,
That picture is funny!  I am sure they had a great workout.
