I know, a bit ridiculous posting a trip report for Bachelor, but if you're driving back from Shasta to Portland and want a really quick ski along with some spectacular views, then a perfect choice!
The nearly 3,000' vertical ascent is very efficient, which also unfortunately reveals much about the skiing -- except for the little bowl at the top, a stunningly flat volcano, but the snow is still plentiful and mainly high quality.
