Anita, Andy (lowrider), Brad, me.  Andy's birthday trip.

Accessed via N Fork Tieton.  Hiked in running shoes to Tieton Pass.

Switched to ski boots at Tieton Pass.  Donned skis on at Lutz Lake, but had a few with a few carries after that.   Set up a comfy camp on a melted out dry established camp spot in McCall Basin.  Another ski touring party (Chuck and Scott) camped nearby.

Summited Old Snowy on Saturday PM, in pea soup fog towards the top.  Hung out at the summit for 2+ hours, brewed tea and watched a spectacular cloud show.  As the skies cleared, we skied great corn 1000+' to the SE, traversed under Ives, gained the ridge just above the col S of Ives, then scambled to the summit of Ives for magnificent views.  We then skied, skinned, skied, booted and skied a more direct line -- across two glacial troughs and two ridges -- back to camp.  All great spring corn turns.  Fab day.  5400' verts.  Celebrated Andy's birthday that night.
Short ski tour with some fog on Sunday AM, then broke camp and humped out.
