An awesome alpine day. Great firm corn on the west side and gloppy but not hideous snow on the east side down to the lake.

Steve S and Greg and Mike saved the day by clearing the downed tree on the road. Showing us the "axe" in ice axe!

Steve P's artsy fartsy B & W pics hear. Plus pics from the solstice trip 6 months ago, when the snow level was about the same.
