;DHi Folks-

I was up on South Sister yesterday (June 23). We skied from the summit down Hodge Crest, and then took another lap on the short headwall above the Lewis Glacier. The snow on the S and SW aspects was great about 10am - 12pm. Above about 6800 there were no sun cups and the surface was smooth. Continuous snow level is about 5900 right now, which makes the approach and descent really nice for late June. Incredible!

Some very small natural point slides were observed on SE aspects in the mid day, and it was easy to skier trigger wet point slides on S aspect slopes by mid-day. These were small, but enough to move you around a bit.

I found a camera on the approach. Contact me and I will gladly get it back to you.
