June 18, 2010, SILVER PEAK w/TNT

Opting for something b4 work on Friday, TNT asked if i wanted to join him on Silver Peak at Snoq Pass.

I had to be @ work in downtown Bellevue by 9 a.m., so I left my house in Mill Creek @ 3:45 and met up with him @ Hyak @ 4:45, then booting the road @ 5:15.

We made swift time and got above the clouds just below our highpoint (see video link below), and then on the summit and making our descent at 6:45.

I followed Tim down the fall line and then down the hourglass chute. Great snow all the way down into the denser trees and then glided out till the snow ran out on the road. Hiked out to the car, showered at the gym at work and at my desk at 8:45. Not a bad start for a Friday.

Downside was watching a friend's band play later that night. They did not go on stage until 10:30, so we did not get home till midnight (a long day)

and then I joined TNT today for a trip up to the Ramparts in a cold and obnoxious downpour, but that's another story.
