June 12, Chair Peak Circumnav

Fabulous day around Chair peak, literally around it. Sluffs all over the place, but nothing threatening due to low elevation and little snow from the last week (2-6 inches at around 5500 ft). All of the big shot had ran really big, which is nice. Route finding was a bit interesting, in a good way. No trail blazed.
Could ski to within 100 feet of the upper lot. Melting out fast, my bet, at this rate will be very un-fun my mid-week. Hot and toasty, felt like summer.
Based on reactivity of the snow, I would not have wanted to be on anything bigger, as anything that fell in the last week or two was either ripping or had ripped.
