May 23, 2010, Goat Peak, Okanogan NF

This popular hiking trail is more fun on skis. Got about one mile short of the trailhead where we were stopped by snow. Skied and walked for a bit. Continuous snow about a quarter mile below the TH. Saw one recent ski track otherwise it seemed no else had visited the lookout for a while. The sledders don't seem to go all the way up.
