Cue up another May powder day!

Met up with Bill at the MBH/Britton intersection and was on the way up by 6:15 AM.  Arrived at the empty upper ski area lot under partly sunny skies and 30F temps.  Telemetry appeared to be correct, with about 4-8" of new snow on the ground.

Skinning up to Artist Point was pleasant, and the solitude was a much appreciated after sitting in a cubicle the previous 4 days.

The skiing down Granny's was fantastic until the very end where the snow started the thicken.  Skinned back up, took a lap on the North Chute, and called it a morning.  Overall the snow was stellar: 4-8" of new on a supportable/non-icy base, and the steeper sections predictably sloughed.

Back in Bham by noon for lunch at Cafe Mambo Italiano (highly recommend) and coffee at Cafe Adagio.

Carpe Diem!

(will post some action shots once I receive them)
some of us worked today.

See you sunday.

Sounds like a good day Brian, glad you were able to get out and get some.
Guess you had enough gas to make it up to the hill, hope it all stayed in the tank.  ;)

Yes we did; thought we did a pretty good job of addressing some of the more pressing social issues facing today's society too.  :D
