Joined Sally and Dennis leaving Seattle leisurely after 6 am, and caught up with two more friends basking in the sun by the lake. The road is now clear to the TH. Snow starts shortly after, still semi-ski-able by some.
The lake is showing some water (as shown in a photo), but comfortably ski-able. The north facing slope kept the sun away except numerous surface wet sloughs. There are some bigger avy debris under steeper slopes. Skiing was pretty good, some groups were doing multiple laps on upper parts. We were a little slow, turned around at the col.
Beautiful day with new friends, and we are all on telemark skis! There is still a lot of snow for skiing above the lake.
