Got stuck on Rd 2820 just before the high point. There are still a few snow patches too deep for my Toyota PU. Unfortunately, even when it melts out, Rd 2820 has now been decommissioned just beyond the Little Quil TH.
Lots of rotten snow, but still had a great time. Hardman Dan set the pace by hiking the lower snow patches in flip flops. It hasn't been freezing enough at night and the upper 4-6" is pretty mushy, except for the top 200'. Set off a few slow "hisser" slides, but nothing scary.
