I did a couple training laps on Mt. Pilchuck yesterday and met a group of four on top. Timing worked out perfectly for me to photograph them skiing the Gunsight from Larrison Ridge. PM me if you were in the party and want full size images. A bit of a mush pit (I felt bad about all the snow we sluffed out of The Gunsight), watch out for cracks opening up on the ridge.
How was the trail? Able to skin continuously? Road clear to TH? I'm hoping to get to Pilchuck soon... Thanks!

Hi! Can drive to TH. Trail has snow patches from the beginning but mostly I'd say bare for about 2/3 the way up. I hiked it in my tennis shoes no problem. Skied down however to within 75' of the TH--hurray! Some parts of the lower ski down won't last much longer but with maybe some creativity and luck still mostly skiable through this week? had a very enjoyable ski there this morning.
