Made excellent time from Seattle to the top of Muir: 6 hours from door to (public shelter) door. Got impatient and skied off the cowlitz cleaver at 10400' at 11. It wasn't cooked yet, nor was the the top 1000' of the muir. I scooted east onto the Paradise, and was soon greeted by smooth, creamy corn. Truly Ripper. It was good enough to scuttle my plans to exit mcclure rock, so I ended up at the terminus of the Paradise, where I hastily traversed west below looming cornices and wet slab hangfire into Edith creek, which I crossed easily on a snowbridge and skinned back to the lot.

Lots of slide evidence below 7k. The top inch or two froze but below are moist melt freeze grains. Above 9k, I found a suncrust that generally supported a boot, but below was winter snow. Most avy activity seemed to be on n and e aspects, but that might be observation bias. I  will post pictures tomorrow, hopefully.
Good job , Thanks for the very helpful update!
