Too hot to stay in Seattle so Vince and I did a quick trip to the Paradise Glacier. There is continuous snow from the parking lot still up over Golden Gate onto the glacier. Snow over 7000ft was not very good. We encountered similar conditions on Mt Daniel on Wednesday: a thick, breakable crust over softer mush. Below 7000ft especially on northern aspects that weren't too sun affected the snow was nicer; consolidated with corn on top.
