Skierlyles, Dave, and I scored some nice runs in the Teanaway. Hit snow about two miles past the Beverly Creek turn off, which gave us about 3-4 road miles to walk before we got to the Ingalls/Longs Pass trail head. We were surprised to see two snowmobilers pass by, who had to get through long dry sections on the road. They said it was the last weekend they would be able to get out there with the road melting out. Once at Longs Pass we made a run down a east facing slope, then a north facing slope, and finally back down a west facing slope. Great corn all day long if you stayed away from the southern aspect. The road down wasn't much fun since there is not enough solid snow to ski and even if there was, it's pretty flat. Brain fart caused us to forget Dave's carbon Black Diamond ski poles on the side of the road. If anyone grabs em, contact Dave and you will be handsomely rewarded.

Nice one. I was up in Bean Crk on Sat and it was really horrible. Sticky mush with some crust thrown in. North aspects were best, but not a lot of that inside the basin. How is the cornice at Longs Pass?

The cornice at Longs was big on the sides, but looked pretty minimal right in the middle. However, we opted to ski a line down the ridge to the SE of Longs Pass that was cornice free. We skinned/booted right back up our line to the top. Here's a pic looking back up at that line (skiing through the needle less larches was a blast):

and a couple Skierlyles snapped:
