25th April, Mt Pattison and environs, Blackcomb BC

Skied the Blackcomb BC last Sunday 25th, really nice snow on north facing aspects. Skied Mt Pattison's NW face which was superb, then climbed to its smaller sub summit to the north (not sure if it's got its own name) and poached a beautiful line just before a heli dumped a big group.

Aaron's posted some more pics here: http://www.telemarktalk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=68451&start=30

We skied the "Closed Blackcomb Glacier" the same day and were treated to powder very similar to your pictures. For a closed slope it got quite a few tracks on it by days end  Grin.
A lot of skinners going up to to the Spearhead vocalizing the powder hoot as we ripped on by.
Thanks for sharing your pics the breaks in the day were very nice!

I think we saw you ski Pattison from Trorey

Good on you getting the line before the Whistler heli-skiers (so much for all their talk about being respectful of backcountry skiers, total bs in my view).
We were heading to the same spot but decided for a second run off Trorey after the heli-skiers started coming.

Great shots!
