Toured up the North Gully of Goat Mountain to the saddle between the two summits. Parked at about 3,000' on Swamp Creek Rd. Occasional bare batches but not enough to make skinning obnoxious.

Higher up, snow was on the heaviest end of what can be considered powder. Surprising for such a northerly aspect, at a reasonably high elevation (high point about 6,000'), earlyish in the day (skiing by noon). Did anyone touring out of the resort today experience similar conditions?

Lots of sluffing from east wall of the gully. Slides never ran far but at one point they were so regular it sounded like waves crashing on the beach.

Visibility involved periods of nausea inducing cascade white out with a welcomed period of clearing for the middle section of our run.

The slush covered avy debris at the bottom of the chute was surprisingly fun to ski!
Nice work.  Hopefully I can join up next time.
