Brilliant blue skis unfolded as we reached Source Lake. We thought of skiing Roosevelt but decided to ski the north slope below Chair Peak to Snow Lake.
Conditions were better than expected atop the col. Snow was not powder, nor mank, something in between.
The descent route to Snow Lake had been littered with avy debris but was negotiable.
Many tours were taking place in the valley, some did the Circumnavigation of Chair, some skied Kaleetan and others Red. It was a great tour with good friends, I laughed so hard at times my stomach ached and my eyes teared. What a great day it was!
