The weather in the Ecrins region is fantastic now, and has been for two weeks! The window may slam shut with the full moon, but it could also be stuck in the open position we hope. Today's tour was superb corn on SW facing slopes, and huge views too. We saw all the north faces of the Meije/Ecrins area, plus Monte Viso, Mont Blanc, and the peaks around Val d'Isere.
Hope there's still some crunchy corn left when I get home.
