Got a reasonable start today, 8AM from the car at Lucomagno Pass just south of Disentis. Snow was more firm than yesterday after a clear night, this tour was short 750m. Lucky it was, because on the summit some locals "reminded" us that the road closes for avalanche danger from 11AM to 9PM, yikes! We blazed past the gate at 1045 in our gutless Fiat Panda, lots of time to spare. Snow was nice corn 2600m to 1850m, not yet slush.
Glad to have time to spare, because we needed six hours to get to Le Monetier les Bains where the weather forecast is perfect for the next four days, hope it's true.
