Granite Mountain still has a lot in store for those willing to make the hike to its North side. But it is mellting out fast... I did make the hike in my Veloces which were great until I started hiking downhill... The slopes down the Denny Lake and Crystal Lake are still skiable and I definitely would have yoyoed there for a while, but I got started way too late (11), so I had to content myself with skiing off the summit, down to the edge of the snow field on the approach hike.

Looking across the valley, it looks like Silver Peak has some turns left!

I thought by now they'd be no snow. Glad to hear I might be able to get one more day in on Granite.
