I climbed the West Ridge of North Twin and snowboarded the North Face.  The face was in the sun all morning so when I got there around 11 am, it was already a rotten slush-fest that was prone to slo-mo surface avalanches.  These posed little danger as they were slow-moving, shallow, and too wet to concrete-up (or so it seemed).  The turns were still fun, although I was a little sketched out by a few rocks that have begun to peek through the snowpack near the top of the face.  I'm going to have to say that the season for this tour is pretty much over, unless you must ski something steep, and close to Bellingham.  Otherwise it's not quite worth all of the snowless huffing to get there anymore.  Pictures to follow once I get a TR posted on my personal site.
