I lived in Juno MANY years ago. Nice to be reminded of what I grew up in. Was that a shot from the old Dan Moller Ski Bowl right above the bridge to Douglas? Also, did you make it up Mt. Jumbo on Douglas Is.? Finally, how far up the Mendenhall Gl. did you get by air?

The photo of downtown was from the ridge between Mt. Troy and Dan Moller. We skinned from the ski area up and over troy and then skied banana chute down to the dan moller trail and out that way...
Did not get up jumbo while I was there but the couloir is in great shape.. so much to do on Douglas..
Also did not head up the Mendenhall at all.. Cought a few glimpses of my beloved towers but did not get up in the Juneau Icefield. The photos of the devils paw, taku, and stikine were all from the jet on the way out..
The good weather definately made it hard to leave southeast, such a great place when the skies are clear...
