Have you driven between Blewett/97 and Mission recently (well, obviously not during winter). I'm trying to see if I can take a car from Blewett >> 9716 >> 9712 >> Mission. Car is not low, has tires made for gravel/rough terrain, but is not 4WD.

Thanks...

Yes. It is pretty rough in the middle once you start climbing Mission Ridge. I've only seen one passenger car on the road, it was high centering in spots. The 9712/9716 road is a beautiful bike ride one of my favorites.

We car shuttled Devils gulch bike ride  two years ago  in the summer and for a lark decided to drive west to Blewitt pass .
It is a rough road. My explorer made it but Bob.s older  Toyota  2wd drive pickup tore up it's muffler.
By all means do it if you have ground clearance. Or better yet a hot dual sport.
By the way" Devils gulch" is world class mt biking.

FYI, the last time I was out there in late summer FR7100 was washed out near the bottom of DG trail. So don't plan on driving out to Cashmere...
