Victor has one three hour ski lesson, and now one ski tour under his belt.
Hyak is a perfect place to learn to skin and ski, and we lucked out with a nice day for both. Snow was very heavy, so we took the groomer back down and did a couple laps. Welcome to BC skiing Victor!

I agree that Hyak is a great place for starting out. And the more new people you can bring in to share our addiction, the better. In our group, with several of us aged 60 +/-, our strategy is to bring in as many younger people as we can, so that 20 years from now when our lungs and memories are failing we'll have someone to pull us up the slope and point us downhill.
