Sun Mine Road to Vesper Peak, Sperry and backside of Del Campo is clear to the TH. Matter of fact, the trail and river crossing is as easy-peasy as it gets. Trail up to Vesper is clear of snow to 3,100'. The valley to Headlee Pass is full of rock hard snow/ice from melt freeze. I stopped with my dog Louie at 4,200' as it would have been nice to have some crampons and ice axe which I did not have. Skiing down was all ice and not pleasant...particularly reading pow-pow on Mt Baker :) Nonetheless a beautiful day. Trust Spring brings the snow Winter didn't.
