Mark, Jason, and I just enjoyed some powder in the Colchuck Lake area.  The approach is Road 7601 and Trail 1599 and 1599.1.  This took us 6 hours.  You go from ice to powder at around 5000'.  There is 4" of dry powder on the Lake.  On day two we started out at 9AM for Aasgard Pass.  After some pit testing, skinning, booting up powder (Photo # 1), and skirting around some ice covered rocks we reached the pass at 1 PM.  From there it is SW to Snow Creek glacier to a saddle.  We found the glacier also covered with dry powder, 4-6 ".  Had to boot the final steep 50 ft. to the saddle which we reached at 3 PM.  Awesome feeling popping over the ridge into the sun there.  (Photo #2 is summit of Dragontail)
4-6" of dry Powder was found from the saddle down to Aasgard Pass. ( Photo #3)  From Aasgard Pass down there was some windblown and a few rocks, but plenty of powder to be found.  Day three we skied the Moraine south of Colchuck Lake.
  Enjoy!
Third photo = excellent!

Do you have more photographs from your trip?

Yes, I have a ton of photos. Here's a few more.  This place was phenomenal!  I'm going back.
