Good days at Rogers with sunshine and easy travel. We avoided the twitchy snow conditions by good terrain management. There were tracks everywhere but by creative travel routes most could be avoided. I spent the month of February at Trout Lake, International Basin and rogers Pass. The North facing aspects held good snow but was continually plagued by surface hoar layers. Now its time to head south for a couple weeks-Utah or maybe the East Sierras if the wind ever dies down!!!
