Myself and Chmnyboy continued our roadtrip by heading south from Big Sky to Jackson.  Got into our family friend's cabin at reasonable hour (8:00 PM) after fighting thick fog on the other side of Teton Pass.

We got an early start in the direction of Wimpy's and Albright Peak with the hope of finding north facing powder.  Instead we found north facing crust, and too our delight, southeast facing corn.  Ripened to perfection for the better part of the 4,000' descent.

No avalanche concerns, and we were back at the cabin enjoying fresh baked pizza and local micro's by 2:30 PM.

Looks like two more days in the Tetons, and then storming chasing to Utah if the weather forecast holds.
SE corn, eh?  You might enjoy Mts Glory and Taylor in the Teton Pass area as well.  Safe travels.

Sound like you guys are skiing yourselves into great shape to break trail for us when you get back to the Northwest. Keep up the good work!  ;)
Have fun and play safe.
