Slightly overcast day, some breeze, varying conditions quite dependent on aspect. 4" slush on 1/2" crust on 4" heavy powder on S and SW slopes above 4000', except stiffer crust on slopes that had seen more wind, and hoarier powder below thinner crust on slopes sheltered from the wind. No photos taken, too embarrassing, especially for the guy who brought his skinny (70mm waist) skis! Lots of back seat driving. Dynafit Manaslus worked ok, maybe a snowboard would have been the tool of choice for the day?

I was up there riding chairs today. I though my thermometer was tweaked out on the way home when I saw 66/67 in the valley! I guess it really happened.
