Started at Cambie Creek parking lot, accessible by car. There is a well used trail via Fat Dog Creek to ~ 5800' ,(thanks to snowshoers), continued to 7000' towards Three Brothers Mtn. Touring is easy along broad ridge with simple to complex terrain and access to beginner and intermediate slopes for skiing. Beautiful views and a lot of area to explore. Weather couldn't have been better! The trip can be a day trip or more depending on how long you want to make your loop.
What was the snow depth at the parking lot? Was the gate covered?
Hwy 3 to Cambie Creek parking is clear - very low snow levels this year. The parking lot is still snow covered (thinly), but the gate is not - lots of plowed piles of snow. It's like spring. You can put your skis on at the lot - no rocks or dirt...yet.
we found some outstanding powder on the way to Poland Lake on a nice sunny day last week.

Hi Heidi, Thanks for the reply. On this shot, it looks suspiciously like snowmobile tracks on the left. Can you confirm?

Those are snowmobile tracks - we saw 2 riders up there. I think snowmobilers access from East Gate or father East. Technically no snowmobiling allowed in the Manning Park area, but there is a Cascade Recreation area bordering Manning Park where riding is allowed. Those tracks - I believe are close to the boundary - but, I think within Manning Park. Manning Park Resort has information re: riding access 250-840-8822.
