First bluebird day after a recent storm cycle dropped 4' - 8' at higher elevations and rain at sea level. On approach to the pass saw 3 clear dangers on NW aspect at treeline ...

Appealing, dug a pit and only the overnight snow seem to be reactive. I continued on up and straight-lined the face for a classic Sunburst descent.

The clouds were moving in signaling the start of the next storm cycle and flattened the light so I decided to ride out to the parking lot. Decisions will be easy this week as another set of storms are set to roll in all week producing tons of snow up high and heavy rain at sea level. Viva El Nino and 2 snowmachiners were caught about 8 miles NE of here in lower elevation moderate terrain most likely on a deeper instability layer.
