Got up to the Hidden Lakes peak region with a friend. We were please to be able to drive quite easily (little bit of ice) to the 3700' trailhead. Carried the skis from the TH through the woods until the area where the trail breaks through the forest ino the alpine splendor, around 4300', then the skinning began.
We reached the Hidden lakes col (North of the peak and lookout), and scrambled up a few of the knobs on the ridgecrest just to the South, topping out around 6600 feet. Just before we reached the col, we triggered a very little wind deposited slab, maybe 3" deep. The views were excellent in all directions, and the wind was ripping on the ridgecrest.
The ski down was very fun.
The tour took about 4.5 hours.
