Joined two Jims from Seattle, a John, a Jake, a Justin, and a Pico (huh?) from east of the crest for a fun, foggy (up high) day. We skied medium density powder from about 6000' to 4500', then heavy powder in the open and chunky tree bombs. Lots of dog hair trees and brush, lack of snow and superb growing conditions have conspired against the skier; we need a good avalanche to clear things out? Good exercise, good company, tricky skiing for some of us.
