Fantastic day. One of my best ever at Crystal. The snow was tailor made for reverse side-cut, reverse camber skis. People were charging. I saw figure 11 tracks down numerous lines, including brain damage. Took four runs in Southback, with each one being better than the last. There should be some tasty morsels left over for tomorrow.

Wow alta snob likes Crystal! :) Me too, and I like Alta of course.

Yup today was almost as good as yesterday, I only made three Kings, left at 115 after my last run on pristine snow SE Silver basin in the foggy snowstorm.

Hopefully Mother Nature will continue to shake the Crystal etchasketch all night and provide a clean white slate for tomorrow's action!

Silas I thought the plan was to do 6 King runs before noon! Weather moved in with a bit of snow after 1:00. North King better than Silver Basin for me today.

really good coverage, the draw of south back lured me away from northway. I'm beat, finally it is all good again

Great day! I was apart of the first crew up the King this morning. Not sure who is who, but there was quite a showing indeed. Hour Glass was glorius! Still early in the season, can't wait for more goods to roll in!

OK, I'll show my ignorance. What sort of snow is tailor-made for reverse side-cut, reverse camber skis?

Sorry, I don't have an answer to the above question.
This may be off the cuff, but whoever the Tailor is needs to get back to work making snow!! I have been less than satisfied with the winter wardrobe.
I'm hoping for a haberdashery full of fine powder for this weekend!

Creamy, dense, maritime snow that sticks to everything. Very conducive to going fast down steep and rocky terrain. I'll take the conditions yesterday over a 30 inch dump in the Rockies. Face shots are so passe.
