Took a short hike for some lower angle tree skiing. On a switchback on a small approximately 35 degree roller around 6000', NW aspect, 4-8" slabs broke and slid easily with cracks shooting out 4-5' when unsupported from below. Skiing in trees was enjoyable on smooth but dense snow. Beautiful bluebird day. Sorry, no pics. Left the camera in the vehicle by mistake. FWIW, skiing inbounds was variable wind pack and crust with copious chicken heads and death cookies.
