Started out in sun, by Van Trump memorial we were in dense cloud, braille-skied to Steven, then back, go back under the cloud

Nice day, warm, spring skiing conditions;  a little wet and of course since I took my Manaslus on the hard crust I used my 7 summits today on the proto-corn, mush, and a little breakable crust.

How do you like the manaslus?  Do you think they are a good NW ski?

Perfect; I used them in ice and breakable crust and crude today.  Best ski I've every had; lighter and more crud-busting than my Atomic R:EX, Volkl Snowwolfs, and Dynafit 7 Summits (all these are very good skis).

Its impressive light they are. Numbers below (from Wildsnow) show Manaslu’s 11cm longer and 9mm wider under boot still weighing in less that Baker Superlights! That’s practically like riding the lift  ;)
And they still bust crud?

Dynafit Manaslu 08
178 cm 1457 gr 51.4 oz 122/95/108
K2 Baker Superlight 07/08
167 cm 1466 gr 51.7 oz 122/86/107

mine are 187s, and they've done fine in all kinds of crap including ski- and snowshoe rutted snow and even frozen boot, ski, and snowhoe tracks.
