A few days too late on this one.  Got to the top of the ridge to find the snow on the cement basin side pretty well baked by the Sun yesterday, and a frozen crust today.  The Bullion basin side was pretty wind scoured, with portions of breakable styrofoam.  The wind scoured terrain was actually pretty fun, since you could ski fast and hold a good edge.  About 500 feet down from the top, all the wind blown snow had collected, yielding some good turns in the trees for a while.  The remainder of the ski out was reminiscent of skiing the Smith Brook trail near Tuckerman's ravine - narrow, hardpacked, with trees to dodge.
I think we met you up there.
I had the husky.
Skiing conditions 3/10
Views 9/10
Still nice to get out and burn calories.
Nice to meet you.
