Fun climb up the summer trail. Could do without the lower 1,000 or so feet. Splednin touring and riding conditions on both days. Didn't make the summit on day one, but made it twice on day two.  did not exit via the creek, but rather using the skin track as a hand rail....unitl I lost my hand rail on day 2 and ended up down shwacking out of the creek anyways. Roll Eyes

The only signs of instability I found was heavy sun affected snow on the ridge. Fun managable sloughing off of the summit.

Nice pic of glacier. The views in the mts have been off the hook the past couple of days. Good to see you getting out  -J

Thanks!

This was two seprate day trips and lucky did not return for the second day.  The lines off of the summit are probably a little too steep for him anyways.

great pics.  How do you trust your husky off a leash?  Mine loves to run run run, even when hes tired.

I am pretty fortunate. The only time we have to use a leash is when 'the man' says so. I have two huskies and they both work very well off leash. They just want to be wherever I am. Here is Lucky waiting for me to assess a slope. He also does very well adhering to the '1 at a time' avi protocol.
