Just a quick report incase any of you are heading out tomorrow. We skied Red mtn today from commonwealth basin. The snow in the basin is about 1inch over a hard ice crust. Red had about 4-5 inches on the same crust. Good stability and nothing was moving except the top layer sluffing in the steep sections. Red did have some windslab areas and some sun effected snow that could be an issue later in the week.
