C'est magnifique! You know its good when you turn your avy beacon on and off in the hotel room. Today it was snowing and cloudy so we slogged up the Illecillewaet Valley in search of gladed pow. The Practice Slopes did not disappoint. No signs of avalanche activity but there was was a distinct week layer about 40 cm down. Things could get interesting with the expected precip and rising freezing levels. The place is beautiful even in the clouds.

We'll second Snowbell's comment. Looks like you guys hit the weather window perfectly.
Wish it would have worked out to meet up, but we ended up having 3 good days inbounds at the resort.
