Got an early start and headed up the commonwealth to ski the gully on Lundin. We got to the col to the east of the summit after a bit of difficult skinning, and more booting than I thought we'd have to do, but all in all the conditions were pretty good for fast travel. Conditions in the gully are variable with packed powder, crust (didn't punch through when skiing), enjoyable dust on that crust, and hard wind board. Unfortunately, the east side of the gully has a lot of debris (frozen death cookies) from the cliff above. We made jump turns and carved around to find some very worthy "lanes" in the gully. The skiing really was enjoyable and the out track was fairly soft and mellow on skiers' right of the creek. Good time.

@eze- left you a note in the other thread regarding the lost "crampon". i use that term loosely as those trampons don't work that great. handy though.
