Sunny and calm.  2 inches new on solid, but not icy, base made for excellent skiing.  Let's see:  sunny, stable, good skiing - better not complain about no powder.
Hey sb,
What's the snow depth at the bottom of the road, i.e. Hannegan Pass turnoff? Are the branch roads snowed in down at the bottom?

Sorry if this question in easily answered with a link somewhere but,...

is the road (NFD 39/6?) to Helitrope Ridge still open?

Stoked,
Last Saturday you could drive the Hannegan Road easily beyond Goat Mt Trailhead (~2-3 miles up). It hasn't really snowed much since then. We couldn't ski south facing slopes on Saturday until about an elevation of 3500ft. North facing would be a bit better, but there isn't much snow in the valley yet.

skiied a few laps on tables north side friday the 11th and made this video. variable conditions, but not all that bad.

i would be up there today if my truck hadn't broke down this mroning, causing some distress, but luckily a passing good-sumaritan/mechanic stopped and reconnected the accelorator linkage with little trouble.

sounds like it's going to be pretty dangerous up there this week
