We started breaking trail as soon as we got to the Narada Falls parking lot. The mountain had been fully out on the way up, so hopes were high for some good visibility. It appeared a lot of folks were out to ski and snowshoe and enjoy the outdoors. Halfway down the road, we stopped and a team of three (I remember Jeff) busted trail for a bit. Thanks for that! We finished breaking up to the Slush Cup tarn, and then decided to head to the saddle on the other side of Castle. We traversed over under Castle, and Voila! we saw our lines immediately.
Backside of Castle
The only thing not good about riding in
Edit:The avy conditions yesterday seemed relatively stable however, we noticed windslab features and some soft slab as well, but nothing that would release...yet. Also, the cold, clear and dry weather, not only has helped wick some moinsture from the snowpack, but it is looking like a hoar development on the surface of this light pow...obviously a layer to remember and keep and eye on.

Here is the long picture heavy version.
Those damn people feeding the fox! Last winter I was camped by Reflection Lakes and was harassed all night long by a fox that had no fear of humans. The fox would stand about 5 feet away just staring me in the face. As soon as I went in my tent I'd hear him clawing and gnawing at my backpack.
Anyways, good looking pics and nice turns! I love skiing the Tatoosh!
